The first thing that’ll catch your eye is the pattern. We like that it’s a bit more subtle in black, the kind of texture that just catches the eye and requires a second look to really appreciate. This basketweave is what drew our eyes to Okochi Meriyasu in the first place, and we think it really sets them apart from other knitwear manufacturers.

This sweater is just a bit less plush than the other ones we have. It's an excellent fall and spring option, or one piece of the arsenal to keep you warm in the coldest winter nights. The slightly reduced thickness also makes it very suitable for layering or office wear. With that being said, it still has a comforting heft and warmth, so don’t underestimate it. This wool is a Super 140s, capping out at 16.75 microns. This fineness means it doesn’t have the itch of a coarser wool, which we find makes it very wearable even directly next to skin.
