This cardigan armors you in a cocoon of woolen warmth. The standout is the shawl. We love the security of a hefty collar, and this sweater delivers on that in spades. You’ll feel ready to take on cold winter nights with this, but also totally at ease just lounging around. The leather buttons add some old-school charm, and more importantly, just feel great to use.
Like all the sweaters from Okochi Meriyasu, the wool on this sweater is outstanding. As a Super 160s wool, it has a maximum diameter of 15.75 microns. This lets you wear it without the bothersome itch that many associate with wool. In fact, it feels closer to a cashmere than a wool thanks to the extremely fine diameter.

Generally expect the sweater to slightly increase in width as the knit relaxes. In our experience, this is about an inch of stretch.
